Administrative Assistant

Full-Time

As the Administrative Assistant, you will proactively support our Executive Management Team and assist in the coordination of church services and events. You’ll manage communications for the Prayer Department, lead a CORE volunteer team, and independently address daily administrative tasks. Success requires someone highly organized, driven, capable of effectively managing tasks and priorities without constant oversight, and committed to continuous improvement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide proactive administrative support to Executive Management.

  • Assist the Service Coordinator with planning and coordinating services and special events.

  • Organize and maintain electronic files and folders on the server.

  • Oversee operations within the Prayer Department.

  • Lead and effectively delegate tasks within a CORE volunteer team.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally.

  • Provide front desk coverage as needed, professionally greeting vendors, guests, and volunteers, answering phones, and handling general inquiries

  • Order and maintain office supplies monthly.

  • Provide essential administrative and logistical support during annual conferences and events, assisting proactively wherever needed for event success.

  • Actively seek opportunities for improvement in workflows, processes, and ministry support systems. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven administrative support experience (church experience preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong resourcefulness and ability to independently solve problems.

  • Excellent judgment, emotional intelligence, and communication skills

  • Tech-savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office, Apple operating systems, Planning Center, ProPresenter, and Basecamp project management software.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Commitment to becoming an active member of World Outreach Church, embodying and championing its mission, vision, and cultural values.

  • Must pass a background check and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive church information.
