Wonder KidsWe want your children to love coming to World Outreach Church and have lots of fun while learning more about the Word of God and the Spirit of God. Enjoy adult services knowing that your children are taught the same topics in age-appropriate format and experiencing the same Holy Ghost flavor that defines us.

Check out where your children belong!

  • WonderBabies – Infant to 2.5 years.  Our conscientious staff lovingly cares for your little ones.  We treat each one as our own, sharing how uniquely God made each child and how special he or she is.  With every bottle we warm or hug we give, we purpose to demonstrate the love and goodness of God.
  • WonderTots – 2.5 through 3 years.  With an emphasis on age-appropriate sensory teaching, experienced teams teach children the basics of God’s Word.  Lessons are graphic and colorful and balanced with plenty of creative play and crafts.
  • Junior WonderKids – Ages 4-5.  Children enjoy learning about God’s Word through puppets and stories in a bright, happy atmosphere.  We know that youngsters this age like movement so we keep them hopping with interactive teaching, crafts and games.
  • WonderKids – Ages 6-12.  In a high-energy environment, we kick off the service with rockin’ praise and worship and follow with lively sermons.  Most importantly, we welcome the presence of God into each service, knowing that children—like parents—crave the presence of God and aren’t really satisfied with anything less.
  • Surge – Ages 10-12. Wednesday evenings only.  Tailored to help older children transition into their teens, this forum offers a more in-depth focus of God’s Word and the power of the Spirit.  We also stress building strong relationships—with God, family and friends.

Paradigm Youth PDF Print E-mail

Paradigm
Ages 13 – 18
Grades 7th – 12th

There has never been more youth on the planet than today.  And if we don’t attract them with the tangible love of God and the power of the Word, the world will lure them with a counterfeit.  So at WOC we ignite our youth with passion and purpose to impact their world instead.

We kick off our Wednesday services in the Paradigm Building with intense praise and worship led and performed by youth for youth.  We follow with practical—rubber-meets-the-road—teaching that uses the filter of God’s Word to discuss relevant issues of the day and build faith into the hearts of our young people.

We also understand that teens are all about fun and fellowship—so we offer heavy doses of both through our on-site café and game room jam-packed with a Xbox 360s, PlayStations, Nintendo Wii, ping pong, foosball, billiards and more.

Striving to connect our teens in strong Christian friendships to bolster their stand for Jesus Christ, we keep Paradigm youth active with social outings like concerts, picnics, movie and pizza nights, lock-ins and theme park trips as well as outreach events, camps and mission trips.

Let your teens join us this Wednesday night!

A Move of Prayer at World Outreach Church PDF Print E-mail

John Wesley once said, “It seems God is limited by our prayer life—that He can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him.”  So at WOC we’re definitely asking Him!

In fact, our goal isn’t to simply establish a prayer department—we want a move of prayer.  And we’re experiencing a move of prayer through our ever-increasing prayer groups that meet at various times during the week.  Currently numerous prayer groups are scheduled to pray for topics as varied as souls and missions, nations, the pastors, church departments, DOMATA, community outreaches and more.

Community Outreaches PDF Print E-mail

Jerry and Jill SpurrellAt WOC we know that before we can reach the world, we must first love and care for those in our own community.  In fact, we know that the light that shines the farthest shines brightest at home.  And that’s why we’re working to reach our community with the Word and the Spirit of God.

  • S.W.A.T. Outreach – Our Soul Winning Action Team (S.W.A.T.) conducts evangelistic outreaches in Tulsa and surrounding areas on a monthly basis, ministering the Good News of Jesus Christ on the streets of Tulsa and compassionately meeting basic needs of food and clothing for hurting people.
  • S.T.I.T.C.H.E.S. Outreach – Stitches stands for “Saving The Inner City Through Christ’s Hope, Eternal Salvation” and is an outreach ministry that heads to the Tulsa and Broken Arrow areas twice monthly April through October.  Teams capture the attention of the young and the young-at-heart in apartment complexes and other public locations with puppets, drama, music, games and giveaways.  Then our S.T.I.T.C.H.E.S team presents the plan of salvation to people excited to become personally acquainted with Jesus Christ.
  • Nursing Home Ministry – Teams from WOC regularly minister in services and one to one at Southern Hills, Mayfair, Grace Living Center and Manor Care Health Services in Tulsa.  There’s something going on weekly!
  • Prison Ministry – Teams from WOC visit Tulsa prisons weekly and sometimes even more often conducting services, ministering individually—and bringing prayer and victory to inmates.

The End Result

Don’t misunderstand Jesus’ comment about Lazarus’ sickness. Jesus was not saying, “Lazarus’ sickness isn’t unto death; nevertheless, he’s suffering with this sickness to bring God glory.” If we’re not careful, we can get confused because we don’t study the Word enough to rightly... read more
